Description

For the client project, an experienced expert is sought to take responsibility for the full implementation of the Renovate platform. The goal of the initiative is to design the target architecture, define configuration standards, and ensure software supply-chain security.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for a large-scale rollout of the Renovate platform

• Set central configuration standards, update policies, and governance models

• Manage project planning, prioritization, and subsequent rollout waves

• Coordinate activities between platform, security, development, and management teams

• Ensure compliance with security standards; manage credentials and compliance requirements

• Review technical implementations and mentor/support engineers across teams

• Validate architectural concepts by building prototypes and Proof of Concept (PoC)

Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale technical transformation projects

• Very good, hands-on practical knowledge of Renovate

• Expert knowledge of the GitLab platform (CI/CD, API, and permissions model)

• Experience designing architecture in distributed, scalable environments based on Kubernetes

• Knowledge of software supply-chain security and vulnerability management

• Excellent communication skills and experience managing relationships with stakeholders

• Ability to combine the architect role with hands-on technical execution

• Fluent English in speaking and writing
