Description

The role focuses on long-term collaboration and planning and executing Alfresco platform updates from version 23.x to 26.x. You will analyze existing extensions for compatibility with the target version, recommend necessary changes, prepare migration plans, run tests, troubleshoot update issues, adapt custom components using Java and Spring, and support go-live and post-deployment stabilization. You will also collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and independently lead assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Alfresco platform updates from 23.x to 26.x
• Analyze existing extensions and modifications for compatibility with the target version; recommend required changes
• Prepare migration plan, run tests, and resolve update-related issues
• Customize non-standard components using Java and Spring
• Support production launch and stabilize the environment after deployment
• Cooperate with business and technical stakeholders and independently lead assigned tasks

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of ACS, APS, ACA/ADF, AGS
• Deep understanding of Alfresco architecture, extension mechanisms, and platform customization patterns
• Practical experience in programming with Java and Spring
• Documented experience with Alfresco enterprise updates: migration planning, testing, removing incompatibilities, and supporting production deployments
• Ability to assess compatibility of dedicated extensions and select the adaptation approach
• Experience with solutions for document and records management
• Experience working with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker and delivering implementations according to DevSecOps practices
• Very good communication skills and independence in a complex organizational environment
• English knowledge at B2 or C1 level for fluent communication in an international environment
• Availability ASAP; maximum one-month notice period acceptable, effective at the end of the month
