Description

Provision and manage on-premise infrastructure using declarative IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) or similar. Automate OS and database operations (deployment, baseline hardening, patching, and compliance verification), and build secure infrastructure delivery pipelines with robust controls such as secrets management, audit logs, segregation of duties, and change tracking. Reduce operational toil by implementing monitoring, dashboards, and alerts for availability, performance, and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage on-premise infrastructure using declarative IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible) or similar.
• Automate OS and database operations, including deployment, baseline hardening, patching, and compliance verification.
• Build and maintain secure infrastructure delivery pipelines featuring robust controls (secrets management, audit logs, segregation of duties, and change tracking).
• Eliminate operational toil and establish actionable monitoring, dashboards, and alerts to track availability, performance, and capacity.
• Participate in incident resolution and on-call rotations, driving root-cause analysis and automated preventative fixes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering IaC and platform automation in large-scale environments.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible or similar alongside solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience administering and securing production Linux environments, with a practical understanding of database automation needs (patching, backups, resilience).
• Proven track record with Git workflows and building infrastructure-as-code CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience embedding security into automation (least privilege, secrets vaults, compliance checks).
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Onsite work in Krakow for any 6 days per month.
