Description

The Senior Manual Tester will support IT projects by conducting manual tests of applications and information systems, preparing test documentation (test scenarios, test cases, test reports), and ensuring high quality of delivered IT products and services. The role also covers analysis of business documentation and requirements, maintaining test environments and tools, participating in implementations and software acceptance, and collaborating closely with developers and clients at every project stage.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tests of applications and information systems
• Support test environment and testing tool management
• Analyze business documentation and requirements before development work
• Prepare testing documentation: test scenarios, test cases, test reports
• Ensure high quality of IT products and services
• Participate in software implementations and acceptance
• Collaborate with the software development team throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with the client on software delivery and testing activities
• Support new team members with onboarding and project ramp-up

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, especially functional, integration, and acceptance testing
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with test management and bug reporting tools (JIRA, Xray)
• Minimum 3 years of experience testing network services based on REST and SOAP using Postman, SoapUI, and/or Swagger
• Practical knowledge of SQL/PLSQL
• Knowledge of XML and Web Services
• Ability to analyze requirements and prepare tests based on them
• Experience in a team environment using Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
