Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to support the development of tools for credit risk modeling. This role connects programming, collaboration with end users, and real impact on global risk analytics processes. You will work with credit risk modelers to help them use the developed tools effectively and influence their further development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python libraries used in credit risk modeling
• Collaborate with modelers to ensure correct and efficient use of the tools
• Collect feedback and participate in improving the toolkits
• Create tests and develop testing frameworks
• Co-create solutions impacting global risk analytics processes
• Work on prototypes and deploy them into production environment

Requirements

Must have:

• Several years of commercial experience in Python
• Very good knowledge of OOP
• Experience in testing (TDD, pytest)
• Knowledge of software development best practices and code review
• Ability to write “pythonic code” and identify code smells
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with Git
• Working in an Agile environment (CI/CD is welcome)

Nice to have:

• Technical degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related)
• Knowledge of risk analytics / credit risk domain
• Libraries: NumPy, pandas, SciPy, polars, Matplotlib
• Big Data experience (e.g., PySpark)
• Participation in open source projects or creating Python libraries
