Java Developer

Description

• Build event-driven services using Kafka, including basic message production and consumption; Kafka Streams is not required.
• Work with Kubernetes-based infrastructure using Argo CD for GitOps and GitLab CI/CD throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• A Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent background.
• At least 3 years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SDLC tools such as GitLab.
• Basic Kafka experience producing and consuming messages.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with comfort working in an international, distributed environment.
• Financial services sector experience is a strong plus.
