Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on delivering data-driven solutions that support business decision-making and system development. In this role, you will perform IT and investigative data analysis, contribute to system design, and develop data models to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business and IT teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and transparency of requirements. The position also involves building a deep understanding of business processes and data models, ensuring that data solutions effectively support business needs. Working in an agile, cross-functional environment, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality delivery of scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform IT analysis, investigative data analysis, and data modelling to support development teams
  • Drive and facilitate functional and non-functional requirements across multiple stakeholders
  • Design sustainable, scalable, and value-adding solutions aligned with business needs
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring transparency and clarity of requirements
  • Build understanding of business processes and translate them into technical and data solutions
  • Analyze and validate data models to ensure they meet business requirements and support data consumption
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and analysts in an agile environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data solutions and analytical processes

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data analysis, problem solving, and requirements elicitation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with very good command of English
  • Solid business and technical understanding, with the ability to translate needs into actionable solutions
  • Experience working in agile environments and distributed, cross-cultural teams
  • Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven approach to work
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience in relational database design, querying, and optimization
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, Impala, pySpark, and HQL, and data processing concepts
  • Hands-on experience with JSON and AVRO data formats
  • Understanding and experience working with standardized data models, such as Canonical Data Model
  • Experience in defining and documenting business and technical requirements
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
  • Experience with Jira and Bitbucket for tracking and version control
  • Background in finance or banking is an advantage
