Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured knowledge transfer and handover activities with the outgoing contractor under NDA.
• Review technical and operational documentation and identify knowledge gaps.
• Organize and support show-and-tell sessions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and transition checklists.
• Create missing .env.example files and unblock local development activities.
• Resolve local development proxy issues and ensure successful environment setup.
• Establish baseline metrics for incidents and engineering effort.
• Execute security remediation activities, including key rotation and credential management.
• Remove secrets from Git history and audit repositories for exposed credentials.
• Restrict CORS access and implement rate limiting on authentication endpoints.
• Validate existing security findings and document the security baseline.
• Stabilize application environments and development processes.
• Investigate and resolve production and operational issues.
• Support business users by addressing technical blockers.
• Improve application reliability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams on platform enhancements and growth.
• Provide on-call support until 20:00 on a rotating basis with another developer.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Angular (v2+).
• Strong knowledge of Laravel and solid experience with PHP.
• Strong TypeScript skills.
• Practical experience working with MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with NgRx.
• Proven experience taking over, maintaining, and supporting existing applications.
• Understanding of web application security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and drive technical improvements.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

• Experience with Firebase.
• Experience in security audits and remediation activities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience defining and tracking engineering KPIs.
• Experience working on transition, handover, or system stabilisation projects.
