Fullstack Java Developer

Rate: 150–200 PLN/h (B2B)

Work arrangement: Hybrid in Kraków, with 6 days onsite per month

We are looking for a developer who enjoys working in an international environment and delivering high-quality solutions using modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications based on a microservices architecture.
• Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain APIs using REST and gRPC.
• Work with SQL databases, preferably Oracle.
• Create automated tests and ensure software quality with Cucumber.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Support deployments and application operations in Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices-based applications.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Solid SQL skills; Oracle preferred.
• Experience with REST APIs and gRPC.
• Familiarity with Maven.
• Experience with automated testing, including Cucumber.
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Very good English communication skills.
