DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Join as a Platform Engineer to help build reusable tools and self-service capabilities with automated infrastructure operations for sustainable healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production workloads running as microservices on Amazon EKS.
  • Manage and improve GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD across multiple environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting a codebase hosted on GitHub.
  • Work with AWS services including CloudFront, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, and IAM across a multi-account AWS setup.
  • Design and maintain IAM roles and policies following least-privilege principles.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Support and extend observability tooling to improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Write and maintain Bash and/or Python automation scripts for operational and infrastructure tasks.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Contribute to infrastructure documentation and internal best practices.

What we’re looking for

  • Comfortable working in a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS.
  • Appreciation for readable, reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Curiosity and willingness to share knowledge and learn with a growing organization.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and an interest in information security.
  • Ability to work from the Lublin office at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and CloudFront.
  • Experience in a multi-account AWS environment.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and Argo CD.
  • Bash and/or Python scripting proficiency.
  • Experience with observability tools or services such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, or similar stacks.
  • Comfortable working in a microservices architecture.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • English proficiency at B2 level.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Helm or Kustomize for Kubernetes application packaging.
  • Relevant certifications such as CKAD or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
