Senior Devops Engineer

Join the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) organization as a Senior DevOps Engineer and help shape sustainable innovation.

In this role, you will design and scale Azure-based data and analytics platforms that support environmental priorities and global impact goals. You will build in-house engineering capabilities and advance modern DevOps, data, and cloud practices at scale.

As a leader, you will guide a growing team, own delivery through Agile ways of working, and deliver automation, innovation, and scalable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate Azure cloud solutions supporting data and analytics use cases.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, workflows, data lakes, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Use Python, PySpark, Spark, and Azure Databricks for data processing and platform development.
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and user-facing analytics solutions.
  • Drive CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to improve reliability and delivery speed.
  • Lead Agile delivery, including backlog ownership and sprint execution.
  • Manage and mentor engineers, supporting capability growth and delivery quality.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to resolve issues and scale solutions.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements across the platform.

Qualifications

  • Experience in DevOps, software engineering, or data platform engineering.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Databricks, Databricks Jobs, and Spark engineering.
  • Experience using Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing.
  • Proven Power BI development experience, including dashboard creation and UX/UI upgrades.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, leading Scrum ceremonies, and using Jira.
  • Experience using Power Automate and PowerApps to simplify ways of working.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
