Agentic Data Governance Specialist (AI&Data)

Description

• Develop governance approaches for modern Data & AI platforms, including federated governance and metadata management.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to embed governance principles into Data & AI solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge models.
• Define standards connecting business concepts with enterprise data to improve AI understanding and data discoverability.
• Participate in client workshops, governance assessments, and AI governance initiatives, including Responsible AI and Agentic AI.
• Translate business requirements into practical governance and semantic solutions.

Work arrangement

• Work is primarily remote, with some onsite time at client locations or offices depending on project needs.
• In-person collaboration, learning, and relationship-building time is included.

Requirements

• Experience with modern Data Governance and AI Governance practices.
• Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies, and semantic concepts in enterprise AI environments.
• Knowledge of federated governance, metadata management, and modern enterprise data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with semantic layers, business glossaries, taxonomies, and knowledge modeling approaches.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a pragmatic, forward-thinking approach to governance in fast-changing organizations.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with graph databases and their role in AI and semantic solutions.
• Experience in consulting, solution shaping, or proposal development for Data & AI initiatives.
• Experience with governance and data catalog tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Purview, or Alation.
• Familiarity with semantic technologies, Responsible AI, and enterprise AI Governance frameworks.
