Project

The project focuses on strengthening ICT Business Continuity Planning (ICT BCP) and Operational Resilience within a regulated financial services environment. It involves developing continuity frameworks, governance processes, disruption scenarios, and testing methodologies to ensure compliance with DORA requirements and enhance organizational resilience to ICT disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and definition of ICT disruption scenarios and map them to relevant Critical Important Functions (CIFs)
  • Contribute to the development of the ICT Business Continuity Planning (ICT BCP) framework, templates, and supporting documentation
  • Assist in designing and implementing ICT BCP testing methodologies based on Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Recovery (BCCM&R) standards
  • Plan, facilitate, and coordinate workshops with key stakeholders to develop and maintain ICT Business Continuity Plans
  • Monitor and track actions arising from meetings, coordinate follow-up activities, and provide timely updates to the Delivery Lead for project reporting
  • Collaborate with the DORA Programme and other stakeholders to align ICT BCP scope, content, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ICT BCP governance documentation and lifecycle-management processes
  • Prepare project documentation, presentations, status reports, and other delivery materials throughout the project lifecycle
  • Engage with business and technology teams to gather requirements, consolidate inputs, and ensure consistent implementation of ICT continuity standards

Expected competences and knowledge

  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Business Continuity Planning, or Operational Resilience initiatives
  • Good understanding of ICT Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, and Crisis Management frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of DORA and other relevant regulatory requirements related to ICT resilience within the Financial Services Industry
  • Hands-on experience working on Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience projects in a financial services environment
  • Experience creating and maintaining frameworks, policies, procedures, governance documentation, and operational processes
  • Ability to prepare high-quality project documentation, presentations, reports, and stakeholder-facing materials
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including workshop facilitation and cross-team coordination
  • Experience working in complex projects with multiple workstreams, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to gather and rationalize stakeholder input and translate requirements into practical solutions
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Self-driven, collaborative approach and comfort working in dynamic, cross-functional environments
