QA Specialist

Mid • On-site

12,000 - 15,000 PLN/yr

Gdańsk, PM, Poland

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA specialist to join our team in Gdańsk. This role is broader than a standard testing position.

You will be expected to:

  • Test bug fixes and new features in desktop, web, and mobile applications.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes and documentation in close cooperation with developers and product stakeholders.
  • Help maintain a global library of traffic control signs and templates by checking quality, identifying content that needs adjustments, and using internal tools to update or create library items.
  • Oversee the customer support process: verify reported issues and feedback, validate documentation quality, and ensure smooth communication between technical support and development teams.

The software is CAD-like, visual, and detail-heavy, so QA requires more than following scripts. It requires curiosity, product understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to think through real user workflows. A strong sense of responsibility for product quality is crucial.

This is an office-based role, with limited flexibility for occasional remote work of up to 20% of working time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test desktop, web, and mobile applications.
  • Perform exploratory testing, reproduce bugs, validate fixes, and identify quality risks before release.
  • Help design and improve QA processes, test cases, regression areas, and release checklists.
  • Maintain traffic control sign and template libraries, including quality checks, regulatory updates, and new content creation.
  • Review, reproduce, and validate user-reported issues and feedback to ensure users receive appropriate support.
  • Review feature and bug documentation for clarity, completeness, and testability.

Requirements

  • Experience in manual software testing for desktop, web, or mobile applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with visual elements and layouts.
  • Ability to think beyond individual test cases and understand broader product quality risks.
  • Solid understanding of QA processes and experience improving them.
  • Curiosity about modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows.
  • Clear communication and confidence working with the development team.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CAD-like applications, vector graphics, mapping tools, GIS, or other technical software.
  • Experience maintaining structured content libraries, templates, symbols, or regulatory content.
  • Interest in traffic management, road safety, transportation, and related areas.

What We Offer

  • Work on a globally used specialist product with unusual and interesting testing challenges.
  • Real ownership over product quality and QA processes.
  • A small, collaborative, and supportive team.
  • Flexible working hours and a healthy work-life balance.
  • Long-term B2B contract with 26 days of paid annual leave included.
