About the role: What's in the Box

As an IT Operations Engineer joining the IT Operations Adaptive Squad, you will be the dedicated technical point of contact for rapidly growing teams in Warsaw and Wrocław. You will take full responsibility for local hardware lifecycles, streamline employee onboarding and offboarding, and deliver reliable, hands-on support. As the Polish presence scales toward a dedicated standalone site, you will work closely with central network teams, local workplace operations, and site leadership to ensure seamless office technology and operations.

Flexibility and cross-functional collaboration are core to how the team works. While this role is aligned to a specific Alliance, strong candidates may also be considered for opportunities across different teams or projects.

What you'll do: The Recipe

• Manage user lifecycles: Own end-to-end IT onboarding and offboarding for team members in Warsaw and Wrocław, including hardware preparation, setup, shipping, and device retrieval.
• Maintain IT hardware and assets: Administer macOS and Windows devices throughout their lifecycle, including device wiping, reissuing, vendor repair coordination, and accurate inventory maintenance in Snipe IT.
• Deliver hands-on IT support: Provide clear, customer-centric technical support for local employees across Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Active Directory.
• Support infrastructure and expansion: Act as the primary on-site technical contact for central infrastructure teams, providing hands-on support for basic networking setup and local IT requirements during office moves or updates. Experience with LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, and Cisco Wireless is relevant.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with local site management and Workplace Operations to support broader operational and facilities needs when required.
• Build clear documentation: Keep IT processes, hardware workflows, and troubleshooting guides up to date to ensure consistent practices across locations.

What you'll bring: The Ingredients

• Hands-on IT experience in an IT support or IT operations role, including support for macOS and Windows systems.
• Asset-management knowledge, including hardware provisioning, device wiping, vendor repair workflows, and inventory tracking in tools such as Snipe IT.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence), Intune, Jamf, SureMDM, and Active Directory.
• Clear, approachable, customer-focused communication and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to act independently as the sole on-site IT contact in a fast-paced environment while staying aligned with central teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English. Polish and/or German are a plus.
• Basic network-infrastructure knowledge, exposure to IT task automation, or a valid European driver's license are pluses.
