Description

Experienced data professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform. The role combines data engineering, data architecture, and business collaboration to deliver high-quality data products, analytical solutions, and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks using API-driven integration patterns and various data sources.
  • Develop scalable data models to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
  • Implement incremental data processing, historization, and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD Type 2) solutions.
  • Design data architecture and data flows within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale datasets.
  • Create and maintain data quality controls, validation frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
  • Build and enhance Foundry applications, APIs, and automation capabilities.
  • Leverage Foundry components such as Code Repositories, Workshop, Ontology Manager, Contour, Data Lineage, and Data Health.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements in data processes and platform performance.
  • Support governance, security, and compliance requirements across data products.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with the Palantir Foundry platform.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Experience in data modeling and data architecture design.
  • Understanding of modern data engineering principles and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Experience with API-based integrations and distributed data processing.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and lineage concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Foundry AIP, orchestration, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git-based development, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Working Conditions

Headquarters in Warsaw, with offices in Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Gdańsk. Work is delivered in a hybrid model: remotely, in offices, and at client offices. Some in-person time is required for collaboration, learning, and relationship building. Willingness and ability to work at client locations, mostly across Europe and beyond, for short- or long-term assignments is required. The work location may include a mix of remote work, client sites, and office work depending on project circumstances.
