Freelance Workday Consultant (Part-Time)

We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant to support ongoing HR systems initiatives and operational activities on a flexible, part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an independent consultant or freelancer who can dedicate a few hours per week to support Workday configurations, enhancement requests, issue resolution, and business process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Workday HCM and related modules.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from HR and business stakeholders.
• Configure and maintain Workday solutions in line with business needs.
• Support Absence Management processes and configurations.
• Assist with data loads and data maintenance activities using EIB.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related incidents and enhancement requests.
• Support integrations between Workday and payroll systems.
• Participate in system testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Advise stakeholders on Workday best practices and process improvements.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Workday Consultant, Functional Consultant, or Workday Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Absence Management, Business Process Configuration, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Security and Reporting concepts.
• Experience supporting HR operations and HR systems.
• Previous involvement in Workday implementations, enhancements, or post-go-live support.
• Experience working with payroll integrations is highly valued.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PECI integrations.
• Experience with ADP integrations or other global payroll providers.
• Workday certifications.
• Experience working in international environments and multi-country deployments.
