Guidewire Developer (PolicyCenter & BillingCenter)

Project description:We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter experience to join international projects in the insurance domain. You will work with global teams delivering modern solutions based on the Guidewire platform, supporting digital transformation initiatives and large-scale insurance transformation programs.Main responsibilities:Development and configuration of Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter)Designing and implementing new functionalities within the Guidewire ecosystemCustom development using GosuSupporting integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systemsParticipation in system architecture and technical design discussionsTranslating business requirements into technical solutions and implementationsSupporting system configuration, testing and deployment activitiesCollaborating with business analysts, architects, QA engineers and project managersSupporting modernization and digitalization of insurance processesTroubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues in production and development environmentsRequirements:Commercial experience with Guidewire platformStrong hands-on experience with PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenterGood knowledge of Gosu programming languageUnderstanding of insurance business processes (policy lifecycle, billing, underwriting etc.)Experience in software development and system configuration within GuidewireExperience with system integrations and APIsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsUnderstanding of enterprise systems and financial / insurance data flowsExperience working in Agile or project-based environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and international teamsGood communication and articulation skillsEnglish B2German B2Nice to haveExperience with Guidewire ClaimCenterExperience with data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)Familiarity with ERP environments such as SAP or DynamicsExperience with finance or accounting-related processes in insuranceExperience in consulting or client-facing project environmentsKnowledge of Guidewire integrations and cloud solutionsExperience working with large datasets or mass data analysisAbility to support process improvement and digitalization initiative
