Senior IXL System Designer

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. This opportunity is for a Senior IXL System Designer.

We’ll look to you for

• Identifying and analysing customer and product requirements to define and design standardized IXL architectures: functional, physical, and operational.
• Defining related IXL equipment configurations using the pre-fitted concept for tenders, prototyping, series production, and project deployment.
• Preparing design descriptions, solution concepts, and other required documentation.
• Preparing use-case descriptions, operational scenarios, and SLATE test specifications.
• Implementing Sternol code using GitLab for version control.
• Testing implemented solutions for safety through formal tests and for functionality through SLATE and system tests, using GNU/Linux, EQSIM, and EQSIM_E.

All about you

The following will help you succeed and grow in this role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and/or testing projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Railway Traffic Control, Automation Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of railway signalling and traffic control systems; practical experience is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of GitLab and Linux environments.
• Fluent Polish is required; English at minimum B2 level for liaising with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to create, understand, and maintain technical documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, and technical specifications.
