Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Trading Platform)

Senior • Remote

Krakow, MA, Poland

Description

You’ll join as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, with your main focus on TradeZella, a trading journaling and educational platform. TradeZella syncs trade data from over 500 brokers and prop-firm platforms, runs backtesting against more than a decade of historical market data, and uses AI to automatically tag and analyze trading patterns for over 50,000 active traders.

There is a possibility of allocation across two products, so you may also spend some time working on a trading terminal for prop firms and traders. The terminal supports reviewing and replaying trades and combines order-flow visualization with replay, audit, and execution in one system. TradeZella will remain the main focus of the role.

What you’ll get

  • Ownership — involvement in the full process, from specifications to shipping; no ticket queue.
  • Product connection — you’ll use the product yourself as a trader.
  • AI-first team — AI is used in planning, research, and building, not only as a helper tool.
  • Working style — outcome-driven collaboration, combining synchronous work with focused asynchronous work based on what best supports effective outcomes.

Who we’re looking for

A senior full-stack engineer who is also an active trader. The role requires strong engineering skills and real trading experience, with comfort working across product, technology, and trading.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Comfortable across backend systems, including low-latency backend.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks: React 18+ and TypeScript.
  • Active trader in futures or crypto, with day-trading or scalping experience.
  • Spec-driven, AI-orchestrated development: able to plan deeply and work effectively with AI agents.
  • Experience with real-time market data, including WebSocket streaming, order books, and Level 2 depth.
  • Ability to produce product specifications.
  • Ability to make UX decisions based on the UX guide and input from a UX advisor.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Would be a plus

  • Ruby or Rust experience; Rust/Axum is used.
  • Experience with high-performance browser rendering, such as WebAssembly, ImGui, or egui.
  • Familiarity with footprint charts, DOM/ladder, heatmaps, market/volume profile, and CVD.
