Senior Full-stack Developer (Databricks, Python/FastAPI)

We are developing a new multi-cloud platform and want a Senior Full-stack Developer to build reliable Python/FastAPI APIs and React/TypeScript experiences. You will work with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Databricks, focusing on integrations and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain web applications built with Python/FastAPI and SQL
• Plan and design APIs and integrations that support high-load database operations
• Optimize query performance across live production systems
• Contribute UI functionality using TypeScript and React
• Use GenAI engineering tools to improve development workflows and throughput
• Collaborate closely with the team while executing autonomously on assigned tasks
• Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders
• Take full ownership of product features and contribute beyond ticket completion
• Handle ambiguity and consistently deliver in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of real-world production experience with Python, FastAPI, and SQL
• Solid background in web application delivery, API design, and system integrations
• Proficiency with high-load databases and query performance optimization techniques
• Ability to contribute on the front end using TypeScript and React while staying effective full-stack
• Experience using GenAI engineering tools, ideally Claude Code
• Strong interpersonal communication and proactive collaboration skills, with ability to work independently
• Capability to succeed amid ambiguity and deliver without constant direction in a transparent, fast-moving startup environment
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher

Nice to have

• Hands-on skills with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Storybook, Playwright, Radix UI, and Zustand
• Experience with PostgreSQL and OpenSearch in production contexts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and adjacent tooling
• Data engineering exposure, including PySpark and SparkSQL
• Client-facing experience
