About the team

xLab builds the Design System and works as an internal team with significant independence and ownership. The team creates native web and mobile components that are key elements of the Design System, while also shaping the environment and engineering culture around their use.

You will work closely with Android developers to create and maintain UI elements and help develop new components and the Developer Value Proposition.

Important things for you

  • Flexible working hours in a 4/1 hybrid model, with starts between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
  • 30 days of occasional remote work.
  • Salary range: PLN 14,600–20,825 gross, depending on skills (employment contract, tax-deductible costs).
  • Annual bonus based on individual performance and company results.
  • Team based in Poznań.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy UI components with high quality, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and maintain high code-quality standards.
  • Stay current with mobile technologies and industry trends.

We are looking for people who

  • Have 2+ years of professional experience in native Android mobile application development using Kotlin.
  • Understand Jetpack Compose and the View system (XML), as both approaches are used.
  • Understand mobile application architecture patterns, such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
  • Use AI daily to support research, code review, and code creation.
  • Have experience working closely with a Design team.
  • Are familiar with Figma.
  • Have experience writing unit and integration tests, or are ready to learn.
  • Are open-minded, curious, and willing to experiment; consulting and exploring alternative solutions are part of daily work.
  • Maintain code quality and cleanliness.
  • Are eager to develop skills and expand knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English and Polish.
