Business Workflow Engineer

We are looking for a Business Workflow Engineer to execute our vision and help create an even stronger industry-leading organization. You will design and build impactful workflow solutions, drive business change and process improvement, apply digital principles, and contribute collaboratively as part of an agile team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build workflow solutions with Flowable and incorporate them into existing products through API integration.
  • Drive business change and process improvement applying digital principles.
  • Implement both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers to share and discuss knowledge through engineering guilds.
  • Work as part of the Client and Transaction Reporting and AM Regulation agile crew.
  • Design, build, and manage the technology stack for portfolio accounting, trade processing, and client and operational reporting.
  • Manage large, trusted, and time-sensitive datasets.
  • Guide and advise others while keeping abreast of technical developments in the industry.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in workflow design modeling with low-code tools such as Flowable, Camunda, or Appian.
  • Knowledge of Java, including SpringBoot, REST API, JPA, and Spring Security.
  • Understanding of transactions.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, focused on a technical subject such as computer science or engineering.
  • Experience working with agile delivery.
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with React, including function components, hooks, and CSS, for customization of the Flowable GUI.
  • Basic knowledge of BPMN.
  • Understanding of common architecture, including the MVC pattern, DTOs, and unit tests.
