Senior Golang Engineer

Our customer’s European R&D center develops new electric mobility technology and solutions designed to meet global demand for premium electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a global Agile team
• Develop new high-quality software
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase
• Build reusable code and services for future use
• Develop scalable, distributed, multi-process, multi-threaded, concurrent code
• Perform unit testing and bug fixing
• Perform code reviews
• Communicate across teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience in Go
• Experience integrating AI/ML models such as GPT, particularly for real-time conversational systems
• Excellent object-oriented and structured coding skills
• Experience or familiarity with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture
• Experience across the full development lifecycle, from design and prototyping to operations and support
• Experience with distributed systems and data replication techniques, or applicable coursework
• Experience with gRPC and Protobuf
• Passion for developing scalable, distributed, concurrent code
• Upper-intermediate English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Ability to work in dynamic situations without clear requirements

Will Be a Plus

• Experience in the embedded automotive domain
• Knowledge of the Azure cloud platform
• Ability to apply design patterns to develop well-structured, modular, performant applications
