Automation AI Engineer

At Pretius, we are looking for an Automation AI Engineer to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation. You'll combine software engineering, system integration, data processing, and AI technologies to build end-to-end solutions using APIs, workflows, ETL pipelines, and AI-powered agents, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation solutions using Python and/or C#.
• Build end-to-end automation workflows using scripts, workflow orchestration, APIs, and AI-powered agents.
• Analyze business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, Microsoft Graph API, and authentication mechanisms.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines and data-processing solutions.
• Build AI assistants, copilots, and autonomous agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solution quality, scalability, maintainability, and security through software engineering best practices.
• Drive innovation by introducing modern AI, automation, and integration technologies across business processes.

Requirements

• Proven software development experience using Python and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise automation solutions from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of API development and system integration, including REST, SOAP, webhooks, Microsoft Graph API, and OAuth.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data, ETL, or data-processing workflows.
• Practical experience with one or more automation platforms: Microsoft Power Platform/Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, UiPath, n8n, Zapier, or Make.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience building AI-powered automations using Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering, ETL processes, and Data Lake/Data Warehouse architectures.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, RAG, and vector databases.
• Experience in Business Analysis, enterprise system integrations, Finance/Tax Technology, or ERP environments.
• Microsoft certifications related to Azure, AI, Data, or Power Platform.
