Description

Join a large, nationally recognized nonprofit community teaching health system as an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Manager overseeing a growing population health and ambulatory pharmacy services team in the Midwest. This primarily administrative leadership role provides the opportunity to manage pharmacists, technicians, and supervisors while helping drive strategic growth across multiple ambulatory care service lines, including primary care, endocrinology, pulmonology, weight management, and specialty clinics.

The position offers a weekday schedule with no weekends, competitive compensation starting around $170,000 (and on up from there with more experience), relocation assistance, sign-on potential, and outstanding long-term advancement opportunities within a progressive academic health system.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a PharmD and have significant ambulatory care (or similar) leadership experience within a hospital or health system environment. PGY2 in AmCare or Leadership Residency is highly preferred, or candidates may have equivalent health-system ambulatory-care-related pharmacy leadership experience plus additional years of practical applicable leadership experience. Someone fresh out of residency would not be the right fit for this level of a role.
