We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to work on a key meteorological component of Lido Flight 4D.

Description

You will contribute to the development and evolution of Lido Meteorological Services, a domain responsible for processing, integrating, and distributing meteorological data for flight planning and in-flight decision support. The system ingests heterogeneous datasets, performs data transformation and harmonization, and exposes them through scalable services and APIs.

As part of an agile team, you will develop and maintain automated tests for meteorological services to ensure high availability and performance. These mission-critical solutions directly support operational decision-making and contribute to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of airline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated backend tests.
  • Extend and improve the Python-based test automation framework.
  • Integrate automated tests into modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validate REST APIs and complex data-processing workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts.
  • Continuously improve testing strategy, tooling, and engineering practices.

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Hands-on experience building automated tests and test frameworks.
  • Solid Python skills, especially with pytest.
  • Experience testing REST APIs.
  • Experience working with Docker.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Confidence working in Linux/UNIX environments and using the shell.
  • Good written and spoken English (B2+).
  • Readiness to work in a hybrid model: 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.
