We are hiring ACQA Software Engineers to join a strategic engineering program building a cloud-native Analytics and Risk platform for a leading global investment bank. ACQA (Advanced Cloud Quantitative Analytics) is the bank’s next-generation platform built on Microsoft Azure, supporting Front Office, Risk, and Finance with high-performance analytics, pricing, and risk management capabilities.

You’ll work on production-grade distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and quantitative applications that directly impact trading and risk decisions.

What you'll do

As an ACQA Software Engineer, you'll be part of a highly skilled agile engineering team designing and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions. Depending on your strengths, you'll contribute across backend engineering, big data, quantitative analytics, or platform development.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable software using Python, Java, or Scala
  • Build cloud-native services and analytics applications on Microsoft Azure
  • Develop and optimize Spark/PySpark pipelines for large and complex datasets
  • Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and finance stakeholders to deliver risk and PnL solutions
  • Write clean, well-tested, production-quality code using modern testing practices and CI/CD
  • Contribute to developer experience, DevOps culture, and platform engineering initiatives
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) while maintaining high engineering standards
