We are looking for an experienced IFRS 18 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join an audit project for a large international financial institution. This expert-level role focuses on supporting the audit team with in-depth knowledge of the interpretation and practical application of IFRS 18, with particular emphasis on key judgement areas and prevailing market practices.
Engagement details
- Location: Warsaw / hybrid – minimum 40% of working days from the office

Key responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise to the audit team in IFRS 18.
- Conduct or support walkthroughs.
- Conduct or support operational effectiveness testing.
- Provide practical guidance on IFRS 18 implementation requirements and interpretation.
- Support the assessment of key judgement areas and prevailing market practices.
- Clearly communicate complex accounting and audit-related topics to audit teams and stakeholders.
