Role Overview
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D organization and validate security sensors and peripheral devices across both wired and wireless portfolios. In this role, you will focus on ensuring functional correctness, robustness, and real-world reliability of detection and signaling devices used in professional security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate functional behavior of security devices.
- Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, and recovery scenarios.
- Verify battery performance and power-consumption profiles.
- Perform environmental and robustness testing.
- Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence.
- Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation.
- Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams.
Required Profile
- Engineering degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
- Experience in the Quality Assurance domain.
- Quality Assurance experience with hardware, embedded, or electromechanical products.
- Hands-on experience with device-level testing in laboratory and/or field environments.
- Ability to translate product and system requirements into effective test scenarios.
- Strong attention to physical, behavioral, and usability edge cases.
- Knowledge of QA processes, methods, and tools, with the ability to use them in practice.
- Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
