Senior .NET Developer (ElasticSearch)

About the project

Our client partners with banks to help them understand and improve their operational risk profile by leveraging data and AI-driven solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET C# Developer with strong expertise in ElasticSearch to join a project focused on building data ingestion processes for ElasticSearch indices.

Responsibilities

• Develop index ingestion processes to populate ElasticSearch indices.

• Build one ingestion process consuming data from Azure Event Hub.

• Build another ingestion process consuming data from Kafka.

• Transform incoming events into a canonical data model.

• Enrich Kafka-based events with additional metadata.

• Work with existing ingestion processes as templates and reference implementations.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with .NET and C#.

• Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch.

• Experience building event-driven and data ingestion applications.

• Experience with Azure Event Hub.

• Experience with Kafka.

• Ability to work independently in a senior engineering role.

Working hours

• Availability for at least 3 hours of overlap with UK core business hours (9:00–17:00 UK time).
