Minimum Qualifications • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years building mission-critical or high-throughput distributed systems, preferably in financial services or similarly regulated domains. • Expert .NET engineering skills, including C#, .NET, async/await, dependency injection, and testing frameworks. • Hands-on Azure experience with AKS, Functions, Service Bus/Event Hubs, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps Pipelines/Repos. • Docker and Kubernetes experience, preferably AKS, including Helm, image lifecycle management, and secure supply chain practices. • Knowledge of event-driven architecture fundamentals, including publish/subscribe, event streaming, and consumer groups. • Test-Driven Development, automation mindset, and CI/CD pipeline experience. • Proven resilience engineering knowledge, including timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, backpressure, outbox/inbox, dead-letter queues, bulkheads, and sagas. • Ability to work autonomously. Nice to Have • Experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or Service Bus at scale, including schema registries. • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, distributed tracing, and performance or load testing at message/file-transfer scale. • Knowledge of secure file exchange and enterprise integration patterns. • Experience with Dapr, KEDA, gRPC, and API gateways. • Familiarity with financial messaging standards and non-functional controls including availability, integrity, and confidentiality. Ways of Working • Work in a tribe/squad setup with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Solution Architect, aligned to quarterly or PI objectives and Definition of Ready/Done. • Participate in tribe ceremonies, including planning, SoS, release boards, and cross-tribe synchronisations when shared platforms are affected. • Collaborate closely with platform teams to comply with container, security, and networking standards. What We Offer • Work with supportive, engaged international colleagues. • Learning and development environment with knowledge sharing and training. • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. • Hybrid working model with office attendance 8 days per month and remote-working flexibility. • Inclusive workplace that values diversity and considers qualified applicants regardless of personal characteristics. • Accommodation support during the application process for candidates who need it.
