Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications for regulatory data processing and reporting
- Design infrastructure and network topology solutions for innovative projects
- Apply development best practices to produce high-quality code and use technologies effectively
- Provide architectural expertise and technical assistance to team members
- Lead technical design discussions with Java Developers and ensure the development methodology is followed
- Build relationships with business users and facilitate requirements gathering

Requirements
- Strong experience designing and implementing Java-based backend applications using Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of database design and SQL, including query optimization
- Solid object-oriented analysis and design skills, including design patterns, clean code principles, OOD, TDD, BDD, DDD, and CI/CD
- Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, and other software development lifecycle tools
- Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning and a good understanding of deploying, maintaining, and monitoring complex Java applications
- Knowledge of modern technical architectures and how to pragmatically leverage their benefits
