Python Fullstack Developer (aviation)

The project is carried out for a state-owned institution responsible for air traffic management and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of flights within Polish airspace. The organization develops modern air navigation systems and collaborates with both national and international partners to enhance the efficiency and safety of air transportation.

Our expectations:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in web application development.

  • University degree in computer science or a related technical field.

  • Very good knowledge of Python.

  • Practical experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask frameworks.

  • Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.

  • Very good knowledge of Angular (version 10 or higher).

  • Experience with NgRx or another state management pattern.

  • Ability to create user interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.

  • Experience with UI libraries (e.g., Angular Material, Tailwind).

  • Competence in designing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

  • Experience with CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).

  • Experience with microservices architecture.

  • Experience in testing (PyTest, Jest, Cypress).

  • Ability to work with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.

  • Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP Top 10).

  • Ability to optimize application performance.

  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

  • Willingness to occasionally visit the client's office in Warsaw.

Key tasks:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications (Python backend, Angular frontend).

  • Integrating the backend layer with the frontend.

  • Implementing responsive user interfaces according to requirements.

  • Participating in application architecture design and technical solution analysis.

  • Proposing and implementing solutions for technical and business problems.

  • Implementing automated tests for both backend and frontend.

  • Participating in code reviews.

  • Ensuring code readability, performance, and security.

  • Preparing and maintaining Docker and Kubernetes configurations.

  • Integrating applications with external systems (REST APIs, queuing systems).

  • Participating in Scrum team activities (estimation, planning, backlog refinement).

  • Preparing and updating technical and architectural documentation.

  • Collaborating with the team on requirement analysis and change implementation.

  • Providing technical support to the team and mentoring junior developers.

  • Identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

  • Optimizing application performance on both the backend and frontend sides.
