Overview of the Role

As a Sitecore Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining advanced Sitecore platforms for one of Europe's largest Sitecore-on-Azure customers. You will ensure the seamless operation, scalability, and security of web platforms supporting multiple prominent brands. Detailed Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Sitecore-based digital platforms, ensuring robust performance and scalability across over 150 Azure environments.
  • Implement and manage reusable foundation and feature components based on Helix architecture principles.
  • Oversee the operational management and continuous improvement of Sitecore and WebApi services, ensuring 99.99% website availability for end users.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary scrum team composed of Azure Cloud/Infra specialists and Sitecore experts to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Build and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Ensure close cooperation and effective communication with other departments, including Azure Cloud teams, software suppliers, and various brand scrum teams.
  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to maintain platform reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to the Sitecore Community within the organization by sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative ideas.

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent higher professional education level).
  • Proven hands-on experience with Sitecore 10 on Azure.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Helix architecture, Unicorn, xConnect, Sitecore CLI, and Publishing Services.
  • Advanced proficiency in building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Demonstrated fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
