Finance Expert

About the Role

As a Finance Expert, you will enhance cutting-edge technologies by providing high-quality input and labels using specialized software. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to support AI task training, improve annotation tools, and contribute expertise in finance areas including investment analysis, equities, commodities, real estate, fixed income, forex, derivatives, and accounting.

As an AI Tutor, you will support the training and refinement of AI models by helping systems understand human interaction and financial discussions. This includes gathering and providing text, voice, and video data, as well as annotations, audio recordings, and video sessions.

Responsibilities

• Use proprietary software applications to provide input and labels on defined projects.
• Support the delivery of high-quality curated data.
• Contribute to training new AI tasks and collaborate with technical staff on advanced initiatives.
• Assist in improving annotation tool design.
• Select and solve finance-related problems involving investment analysis, taxation, accounting, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
• Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving instructions.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a finance-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional-level English reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use financial databases and resources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and SEC filings.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong reading comprehension and autonomous judgment.
• Interest in technological innovation within finance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, wealth manager, or financial consultant.
• Publication experience in finance or economics journals.
• Teaching experience in finance-related subjects.
• CPA certification.
• CFA Charterholder.

Location and Other Expectations

• Roles may be full-time, part-time, or contractor based.
• Flexible contractor schedules depending on project scope.
• Remote work available worldwide subject to eligibility and role requirements.
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Personal devices must use Chromebook, macOS 11.0+, or Windows 10+.

Compensation and Benefits

• US compensation ranges from $45/hour to $100/hour depending on qualifications and location.
• Eligible US positions may include health insurance, 401(k), and paid sick leave.
