Staff Engineers/Technical Leaders - Paid Research

The role

We are inviting experienced professionals in Software Developer leadership roles to participate in upcoming research projects focused on workflow management tools and development processes. We are particularly interested in individuals who are involved in evaluating, selecting, purchasing, or making decisions about workflow management tools within their organizations.

If you have the necessary experience, you'll be invited to complete a 10- to 15-minute assessment to evaluate your suitability for research tasks. Successful participants may join the platform and take part in paid research activities related to workflow management and development processes.

Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay up to $200 per hour. Participants must be prepared to complete paid tasks that may require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.

Eligibility

• Hold a Manager-level position or above
• Work in Software Engineering, Software Development, Product Management, or UX/Product Design
• Currently use, or are actively considering using, workflow management tools
• Participate in decision-making regarding development, product, or workflow management tools within an organization

This is a bench model. Eligibility for projects depends on demand and profile matching.

What you'll bring

• Manager-level experience or higher in software engineering, product management, or product design functions
• Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, or managing workflow management tools
• Familiarity with software development, product development, or design workflows
• Involvement in purchasing decisions, tool selection, budgeting, or strategic recommendations related to development and collaboration tools

What you'll be doing in the role

• Complete a paid screener to help assess your background and suitability for specific research tasks
• Participate in AI-moderated interviews and written tasks
• Complete qualitative surveys and feedback activities
• Share insights about workflow management practices, tool selection, and organizational needs
