The role
We are inviting experienced professionals in software engineering, product management, and UX/product design leadership roles to participate in upcoming research projects focused on workflow management tools and development processes. We are particularly interested in individuals who are involved in evaluating, selecting, purchasing, or making decisions about workflow management tools within their organizations.
If you have the necessary experience, you'll complete a quick 10- to 15-minute test to assess your suitability for research tasks. If successful, you'll be invited to join as a participant and get paid to share your expertise with researchers and organizations.
Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay up to $200 per hour. You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.
Eligibility
- Hold a Manager-level position or above
- Work in Software Engineering, Software Development, Product Management, or UX/Product Design
- Currently use, or are actively considering using, workflow management tools
- Participate in decision-making regarding development, product, or workflow management tools within an organization

What you'll bring
- Manager-level experience or higher in software engineering, product management, or product design functions
- Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, or managing workflow management tools

What you'll be doing in the role
- Complete a paid screener to help assess your background and suitability for specific research tasks
- Participate in AI-moderated interviews and written tasks
- Complete qualitative surveys and feedback activities
- Share insights about workflow management practices, tool selection, and organizational needs
Key Technologies
Direct experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, GitLab Issues/Boards, Shortcut, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com is required.
