Job Responsibilities

When you step into a Product Manager role, you step into ownership. The Product Manager is responsible for owning product strategy and execution for one or more product categories.

The role partners closely with Brand Managers, Product Developers, Design, Legal, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure products are user-centered, technically sound, on brand, and commercially successful.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Own the 1 to 3-year product roadmap by product category
  • Define category-level product strategy in partnership with Brand and Executive leadership
  • Lead product definition development in collaboration with Brand Managers and technical teams
  • Act as the category expert, monitoring trends, white space, and competitive dynamics
  • Request and leverage consumer insights and market research to inform product direction
  • Translate research into clear, durable product requirements and opportunities
  • Own the translation of approved product concepts into defined, executable products through launch and lifecycle management
  • Participate in semi-annual portfolio and roadmap reviews
  • Maintain competitive, trend, and share landscapes to inform decision-making
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure products meet cost, quality, schedule, and regulatory goals
  • Incorporate learnings from in-market performance into future product development
  • Ensure product decisions remain aligned with user needs and long-term portfolio strategy

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant physical product management experience
  • Experience defining and owning product requirements and roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of product development processes from concept through production
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Brand, Engineering, Design, and Supply Chain teams
  • Ability to synthesize user research, market data, and business inputs into clear product direction
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with global manufacturing partners is a plus

What You’ll Do - Architect and steward product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows - Solve complex marketplace problems balancing customer needs, operations, and business outcomes - Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering teams - Build systems improving marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and efficiency - Use data to uncover patterns and answer marketplace and customer questions - Translate operational complexity into scalable product systems - Design internal tooling and technical solutions to scale operations - Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and environments - Communicate complex systems and workflows into product strategy - Align stakeholders and synthesize cross-functional feedback What We’re Looking For - Strong customer obsession with on-site engagement across marketplace sides - AI-native operating approach with hands-on prototyping and technical contribution - Deep experience in two-sided marketplaces including liquidity, matching, incentives, fulfillment, and trust - Enterprise B2B product experience with multi-stakeholder customers and operational rollouts - First-principles thinking and systems-level product judgment - Experience building operational products or internal tools - Builder mentality with comfort in ambiguity and fast execution - Deep cross-functional collaboration skills What You’ll Bring - 7–10 years of experience as a Product Manager - Track record of shipping products that moved business outcomes - Experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics - Experience building enterprise products in complex operational environments - Experience building internal operational systems supporting execution - Strong technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering - Startup experience with high ownership and speed - Desire to work across a broad product surface area - Strong work ethic and ambition to build a category-defining company Benefits - Start-up equity - Competitive salary - 100% paid health, dental, and vision coverage - Dinner provided via Grubhub and stocked kitchen for NY employees - Commuter benefit - Team building events - Gympass benefit - Flexible PTO - Additional benefits: One Medical membership, HSA via Optum, Talkspace, Health Advocate, Teladoc Health Salary Range Details The compensation range for this position is $210,000 – $250,000. Exceptions may be made for candidates with qualifications significantly different from those outlined. A competitive equity package is included. The position is based onsite in New York City or San Francisco, five days per week.
