The role supports the identification, assessment, prioritization, and oversight of risk management actions for Department of War and USAF critical assets in accordance with DoDD 3020.40 and DODI 3020.45. The specialist will leverage enterprise data platform capabilities to automate workflows, manage operational reporting, and support decision-making for senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Support analytical workflow enablement, system sustainment, and the scaling of mission-critical data products across the Mission Assurance enterprise.
- Utilize enterprise data platform capabilities, including Palantir Foundry, Jira, and Confluence, to streamline tracking, automation, and decision-making processes.
- Configure and maintain dashboards, task lists, and data-monitoring views for operational reporting.
- Provide Senior Staff Officer administrative support to Air Force headquarters offices, including task coordination and meeting execution.
- Facilitate secure administrative workflows up to the Top Secret level and ensure timely resolution of high-priority staff actions.
- Build and maintain automation triggers within coordination environments to reduce manual data entry.
- Train and onboard non-technical personnel on enterprise analytical data tools and dashboards.
- Coordinate governance workflows, knowledge-management hubs, and templates across MAJCOMs, NAFs, and Wings.
- Identify workflow vulnerabilities and communicate user feedback to engineering and analytics teams.
- Collaborate with data managers to integrate new data pipelines into operational tracking systems.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in workflow management, data systems support, or military staff operations.
- Hands-on familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Jira, Confluence, or similar enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Valid US passport and ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25%.
- Strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to serve as a technical point of contact.
Desired Qualifications
