The Role
IonQ is seeking a senior software engineering manager to lead and grow the developer tools team focused on SDKs and libraries for quantum computing platforms and simulators. The role combines technical leadership, software engineering, and collaboration with developer communities and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate can manage multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and balance technical expertise with strong business judgment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers building SDKs and libraries for quantum computers and related systems

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

- Experience building SDKs and working in hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of team management best practices and scaling distributed teams
