About You and The Role You will join Zipline's Flight Operations team as a Visual Observer based in Dallas, supporting safe, repeatable autonomous aircraft operations that deliver medical supplies. This role exists to ensure public and crew safety during launches, flights, and deliveries by detecting, reporting, and mitigating airborne or ground-based hazards. You'll operate at outdoor field sites supporting scheduled and test flights, working on a crew with Fleet Command (RPIC) and other operators. About You and The Role You are a hands-on Flight Test Operator focused on bringing early-stage Zipline aircraft from prototype through production bring-up. You will execute, iterate, and sign off on flight operations that validate airworthiness, avionics/software integration, and field-deployable procedures that enable drone delivery at scale. In 2026, we will scale Platform 2 deliveries per day by 10x while we ramp range by 5x - so, we'll fly 50x further every day than we do today. Then, in 2027 we'll make a similar 10x+ jump while expanding across the globe.
