Senior Product Manager (Marketplace)

Senior • On-site

180,000 - 210,000 USD/yr

San Francisco, CA , +1

Traba is building the AI operating layer for the light industrial supply chain. The company started in the workforce space to solve contingent labor challenges for manufacturing and logistics customers and is expanding into broader operational workflows through technology and applied AI.

The Role

The product is the labor itself: the workers matched and deployed into warehouses and manufacturing facilities across the country. Every product decision impacts supply, demand, fulfillment, customer outcomes, and marketplace health.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Product Manager to own and evolve the staffing product at the center of the marketplace. The role involves working across enterprise customers operating distribution centers and manufacturing lines, as well as the workers supporting those operations.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, product managers, operations teams, and field teams to design, build, and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities. This role reports directly to the VP of Product.

What you’ll do

  • Architect and steward product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows
  • Solve complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes
  • Write detailed product requirements and partner closely with engineering teams to execute solutions
  • Build systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency
  • Use data to uncover patterns and answer marketplace and customer questions
  • Translate operational complexity into scalable product systems
  • Scale operations by designing internal tooling and technical solutions
  • Launch and iterate products across customers, regions, and operational environments
  • Visualize and communicate complex ideas from systems and workflows to operational models and product strategy
  • Socialize work across teams and synthesize stakeholder feedback

What we’re looking for

  • Customer-focused product mindset with experience engaging directly with marketplace users
  • AI-native approach to product development and operations
  • Deep experience with two-sided marketplaces and marketplace dynamics
  • Experience building enterprise B2B products with operational complexity
  • Strong first-principles thinking and systems understanding
  • Experience building operational products or internal tools
  • Builder mentality with ability to work in ambiguous startup environments
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, operations, sales, customer teams, and leadership

What you’ll bring

  • 5 - 7 years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
  • Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with supply and demand dynamics
  • Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and operational environments
  • Experience building internal operational tooling or systems
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
  • Startup experience with strong ownership and execution
  • Desire to work across a broad product surface area
  • Strong work ethic and interest in building a category-defining company

Benefits

  • Start-up equity
  • Competitive salary
  • 100% paid health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Dinner provided via Grubhub and stocked kitchen for NY employees
  • Commuter benefit
  • Team building events
  • Gympass benefit
  • Flexible PTO
  • Additional benefits including One Medical Membership, HSA via Optum, Talkspace, Health Advocate, and Teladoc Health
