We are looking for a Senior SDET specializing in JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through robust automated testing solutions.

This is a fully remote position with working hours from 13:00 to 21:00 Polish time.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with test managers and product owners to understand testing approaches for software features
  • Analyze requirements and technical documentation to create comprehensive test scenarios and scripts
  • Design, develop, and execute automated functional and non-functional tests
  • Implement API testing strategies to validate correctness, security, reliability, and performance
  • Build and maintain component-level test suites with mocks and contracts
  • Plan and analyze performance and load tests
  • Identify, document, and report defects with supporting evidence
  • Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to validate upcoming changes
  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and maintain Playwright-based end-to-end test suites
  • Automate API tests using Swagger endpoints and tools such as Playwright, Supertest, WireMock, Bruno, and Pact
  • Develop performance scripts in k6 and analyze bottlenecks using Grafana and Xray dashboards
  • Use AI-assisted technologies such as GitHub Copilot within VS Code to accelerate test development
  • Maintain traceable test artifacts in Xray, Jira, Confluence, and Git
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript test automation
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright
  • Proficiency in test case development with mocking and stubbing tools
  • Strong understanding of API and web service testing
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with test management and traceability tools
  • Competency in Agile methodologies and cross-team collaboration
  • English proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as k6 and Grafana
