Description
Software Simulation Engineer (AI + Infrastructure)
We are seeking an experienced Simulation Engineer to design and scale advanced simulation systems that improve infrastructure performance and decision-making. This role focuses on building high-fidelity simulation environments, expanding simulation coverage, and leveraging AI to model complex real-world systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable simulation frameworks (e.g., discrete event simulation)
- Expand simulation capabilities to model additional real-world scenarios and systems
- Integrate AI/ML techniques to improve simulation accuracy and predictive power
- Analyze simulation results to drive infrastructure and operational improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to validate models and assumptions
- Optimize performance and computational efficiency of simulation systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in simulation modeling or related fields
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
- Strong experience with discrete event simulation
- Background in infrastructure systems, operations research, or similar domains
- Experience applying AI/ML in simulation environments
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages

Compensation
Salary Range: $115K-$145K
