Product Engineering Team
Our highly collaborative Product Engineering team is building the products and experiences our customers use every day. You will have direct input to the product development process, working alongside our Product Managers and CTO in shaping and building new features for our products.
We are creating highly compelling and interactive user experiences on the Salesforce platform by combining React with Salesforce technology such as Lightning Web Components.
AI at Precursive
AI is an important part of how we build products and how we work as a team. We actively use Claude in our day-to-day work to improve productivity, collaboration, and software development workflows. We are also incorporating AI-powered capabilities into our product, giving our engineering team the opportunity to help shape and deliver new AI-driven experiences for our customers. What you’ll be doing
Our QA Engineers are a key part of our success here at Precursive. We rely on our internal team of experts to ensure quality across the board. If you love all things QA, you can find further detail on day-to-day responsibilities below:
Creating and carrying out extensive manual test scenarios to ensure that the software created meets the requirements
Finding and reporting bugs, as well as issues and improvements for our desktop application, via Jira
Conducting exploratory, integration, and regression testing
Defining detailed test plans for new requirements
Collaborating with developers and other colleagues across the business to find and define solutions
Collaborating with support and triage issues raised by business
What we’re looking for:
Required
At least 2 years’ of QA (or similar remit) experience, in complex tech environments
Excellent written and spoken English
SQL, SOQL
Proficient in Jira and Bitbucket software
Great attention to detail, to identify even the most well-hidden bugs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-sufficiency, proactivity, and responsibility for assigned tasks
Nice to have
ISTQB certification
Experience in a Salesforce environment
Experience with test automation: Apex, JavaScript, Selenium, would be a plus

What happens next?
Each stage will be hosted virtually, and will look something like the below. We may adjust the stages, as needed, during the process, but will always give due notice to candidates.
First Stage (30-mins): Initial video chat to answer questions about the role, Precursive, and how we work. We also use this as an opportunity to learn more about your background and experience.
Second Stage (60-mins): Technical interview with the hiring manager. This is also a good opportunity to ask more questions about the role and opportunities in Precursive.
Final Stage (30-mins): Meet the direct team (virtually), an opportunity to meet the wider team, and another opportunity to ask questions about life at Precursive. This may also include a cameo by the CTO.
