Mission Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the ML Infrastructure: Dev Enablement Team. The mission is to build a frictionless development environment that empowers researchers and engineers to rapidly innovate on deep learning models for autonomous driving.

The team manages a high-scale Cloud Development Environment (CDE) platform that provides standardized, high-performance workspaces for ML development. In this role, you will design multi-cloud setups to maximize GPU availability, drive model optimization, and build next-generation Agentic AI tooling.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build Agentic AI tooling to automate workflows, streamline the ML lifecycle, and improve developer productivity.
  • Drive continuous development of core ML infrastructure and the CDE platform using Kubernetes and distributed systems.
  • Partner with ML researchers to profile and optimize distributed training jobs and data pipelines, focusing on I/O, memory management, and network communication overhead.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to bridge infrastructure and model development needs.

What We're Looking For

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and distributed systems
  • Strong proficiency with Python or Go or C++
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience with the ML development lifecycle
