  • Contact the school/daycare to schedule observation
  • Communicate with family members, therapists, and staff professionally
  • Observe child for 20–30 minutes during structured and unstructured activities and transitions
  • Complete observation report promptly and forward to preschool evaluation department
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations
