KC Techworks is a young and agile outsourcing software development company based in Krakow, Poland. We provide development services, consultancy and managed resources to businesses operating across numerous sectors, primarily based in the UK. We are currently looking for a team member to work with a UK based SAAS company, to extend their existing QA & testing team. The current engineering team consists of around 20 technical heads, all of whom are remote, with occasional meetups in London. The team are friendly, welcoming and multicultural operating from many locations including the UK, Sweden, Poland, Montenegro, USA, Spain and Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using Jira.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
- Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, product managers) to ensure product quality.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with international teams and stakeholders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Manual Tester.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test case management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with web application testing.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Experience with automated testing is an advantage.

This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of new features before they reach business UAT, supporting multiple webspaces, themes, and locales. The consultant will play a key role in defining and growing the QA process from the ground up while acting as the quality bridge between developers and business stakeholders. The ideal profile brings strong experience in manual web application testing, a structured approach to quality assurance, and a keen eye for identifying issues before they impact end users. Role Functionally test new features before they reach business UAT across multiple webspaces, themes, and locales. Design, write, and maintain test cases, checklists, and regression suites tied to acceptance criteria. * Perform exploratory and edge-case testing, actively looking for gaps that developers and business stakeholders may miss. * Test content editor workflows in the Sulu admin, including pages, blocks, snippets, menus, and multi-language content. * Perform cross-browser and responsive verification. * File clear, reproducible bug reports and verify fixes. * Run release verification before deployments and act as the quality bridge between developers and business stakeholders. * Help define and grow the QA process from the ground up. Profile Proven manual testing experience on web applications. Experience designing test cases and producing structured bug reports using any tracking tool. * Strong attention to detail and a natural instinct to “try to break things.” * Solid understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing. * Understanding of CMS and content management workflows. * Good communication skills in English and Polish. Nice to have Basic API testing experience using Postman or similar tools, and basic SQL knowledge. Familiarity with CI/CD and an understanding of where QA fits into the delivery pipeline. * Exposure to, or an interest in, test automation, with room to grow the role in this direction. * Experience testing multilingual and multi-market websites. * Basic understanding of accessibility testing.
