Install plumbing systems and all other related components correctly and in a timely manner, while also helping facilitate customer satisfaction and workplace safety. All Plumbers are expected to work under close supervision within a team-oriented environment and with a minimal amount of creative design, depending on work experience and proven competencies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures, domestic water and drainage systems according to plumbing codes. - Inspect structures to locate and mark positions for pipes and connections. - Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment for plumbing tasks. - Perform tests to locate leaks and other plumbing issues using water or air and reading gauges. - Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe fittings. - Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and both metal and nonmetal pipes. - Install plumbing fixtures, including toilets, drains, and water heaters. - Model and promote excellent customer service for internal and external customers. - Work collaboratively with contractors and other tradesmen. - Maintain inventories of tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal material consumption. - Ensure plumbing systems are safe and running efficiently. - Follow all safety protocols and comply with statutory regulations and plumbing codes. QUALIFICATIONS: - Commercial plumbing experience. - Completion of an apprenticeship or trade school in plumbing. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to lift, push, and pull objects over 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces. - Prolonged periods of standing and walking. - Strong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions for long periods of time. - Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually. - Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
